Process Engineer
Will apply substantial technical skills and initiatives in the transfer of technology from R&D into a production environment. Will also optimize existing small scale production. Theoretical and practical technical expertise in process design, instrumentation and control, and technical writing are required. Experience in programming distributed control systems, industrial experimentation, chemical analysis and small project management are a plus. The role will be both as an individual contributor and coordinating the efforts of others. A B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience are required. More experienced persons in the role will have increased responsibilities and expectations.
Manufacturing Scientist
Supports the production of new and existing small volume products. Knowledgeable in the operation of compressed gas and vacuum systems. Familiarity with materials characterization and chemical analysis. B.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Eng. + 5 years experience.
R&D Technician
Supports the development of new chemical products. Knowledgeable in process control and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with chemical analysis equipment and procedures. B.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Eng. + 3 years experience.
Production Technician
Must have strong chemical operations and manufacturing skills as well as mechanical aptitude. Successful candidate will have demonstrated chemical process operations and troubleshooting skills, ability to produce and maintain written records, routine chemical analysis skills and basic computer skills. Chemical manufacturing experience required. You will be required to be an Emergency Responder.
Gas and cylinder handling experience a plus.
QC Chemist
Responsibilities include:
- Testing of raw and in-process materials and finished goods
- Monitoring, calibration and performance evaluation of laboratory equipment
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of GC, GC/MS and FTIR
- Method development, writing analytical reports and SOP
- Clear and timely communication of results to other divisions within the company
BS in Chemistry or related field.
1-3 years of experience, preferably in gas industry.
Proficient in MS Office and exp. in GC, GC-MS and FTIR.
Knowledge of analytical data systems, statistical data analysis.
Exp. in troubleshooting and minor repair of analytical instruments a plus.
